Pasricha & Patel Takeaways:
USCIS has confirmed that it has completed the return of all of the fiscal year 2020 H-1B quota petitions to the petitioners.
And USCIS also reminds petitioners who have either not received a form I-797 filing receipt notice, or the returned petition by August 29, 2019, that they may contact the USCIS for further assistance.
Meanwhile, the H-1B employer/petitioner can still expect to receive either approvals or notice of request for further evidence (RFE) for cases that are still being adjudicated by the USCIS.
And a reminder that some of the H-1B quota petitions are still being shifted between the Vermont Service Center and the California Service Center in order to balance their workload and enhance processing efficiencies. USCIS will also issue notices to the affected H-1B petitioners to notify them of such a process. And the affected H-1B petitioner will have to send any future correspondence to the center that is actually processing the petition.
