Pasricha & Patel Takeaways:

U.S. Department of State has just released the December 2018 Visa Bulletin. A quick look at both the family-based and the employment-based preference categories show that there continues to be incremental movements – at least holding steady – of the various preference categories. The visa numbers for these various categories should continue to remain steady in the next few months. And it is also expected that the USCIS will continue to instruct applicants to follow the tables for “Dates for Filing of Employment-Based Visa Applications” for the month of December when determining whether they can submit their I-485 adjustment of status applications or not.

Should there be any significant developments that would change the visa number or filing option outlooks, we will update our readers on any such developments. We encourage our readers to check our website Lawimm.com regularly for any such announcements.
